Kickstarter Update #6
Dear Olympic Auditorium Project Supporters,
We’re down to our final 34 hours. Our funding deadline is Friday at 6pm. You are part of an exclusive group–165 people who have seen fit to pledge your hard earned money to help our project. Some of you are boxing fans, some of you love wrestling, some love roller derby, some are music fans. Many are family and friends who can see our passion and commitment to telling this story and just want to help. No matter. We are grateful to you all for joining the brawl, and whether we make it or not, we thank you sincerely for your support.
That being said, we DO NOT PLAN TO FAIL. We’re fighting to the finish. We’ve seen the momentum building and know WE CAN DO THIS! We are asking for one more favor from you, our supporters, as we push to the final hours of our campaign. Please SPREAD THE WORD through your social networks, friends, and family. We have a lot of great rewards–from tee shirts to Theo Ehret prints, to an exclusive boxing dinner, to amazing artwork. If you feel like perusing the rewards again and upgrading your pledge, you can do so.
We thought we’d share something that is exclusive to you, our supporters. This is part of our interview with Rowdy Roddy Piper, one of the great villains in wrestling history. Here he shares a story about motorcycle riding with Gene LeBell and Chavo Guerrero.
